Proven track record

"I'm going to send my CV to the club today," Thompson told The Sentinel. "I've managed up to Championship level and I've got a proven track record wherever I've been. "I'm definitely interested in the job. I don't just want to be a manager for the sake of it, though. I want to be at a club that matches my own ambitions. "My record is working mainly in the lower leagues with little money and working to a budget. I'm about getting out there and watching teams and I have a lot of contacts."
