Borja Valero has indicated that he intends to remain at West Bromwich Albion following their relegation from the Premier League. A disappointing 2008/09 campaign for the Baggies condemned Tony Mowbray's side back to the Championship. Valero joined West Brom from Real Mallorca for £4.75million last summer and made 27 league starts during his debut campaign. The 24-year-old Spaniard remains committed to the Midlands club and says he is keen to stay and ensure they return to the top flight. Valero said in the Daily Star: "I still have a three-year contract here and would like to be true to that. "For sure playing in the second division is not ideal. But if I have to put up with it then I am going to put up with it."
