Argentine striker has no desire to secure Cruz Azul switch
Esteban Solari has played down speculation suggesting he is set to join Mexican outfit Cruz Azul.
The Argentinian striker is currently on the books of Spanish side Almeria and claims he has no desire to leave.
The 29-year-old has previously played in Mexico, during a brief stint at Pumas, but is adamant that he has no plans to return in the near future.
"I don't know anything about these rumours," he said.
"I haven't been in touch with anyone from Mexico. They are just rumours and there isn't anything official regarding me leaving Spain and playing for Cruz Azul.
"I am only thinking about enjoying my vacation and then planning for the new season in Spain.
"I still have a contract with Almeria for another three years. I am proud to be linked with a move to Mexico but my plan is to stay in Spain."
