Brazil star to be unveiled as new signing on Tuesday evening

Real Madrid have confirmed that Kaka has successfully passed his medical with the Primera Division giants. The 27-year-old had already completed a first set of medical tests with Real whilst on international duty in Brazil prior to the official announcement of his transfer from AC Milan on 8th June. Kaka, who Real have paid Milan a fee reportedly in the region of £56million for, will be presented by his new club at the Bernabeu on Tuesday evening. The capture of Kaka is set to be followed by Cristiano Ronaldo's £80million arrival from Manchester United, with the winger to be unveiled on 6th July. Fronted by president Florentino Perez, Real are overseeing a period of recruitment as they look to build a side that will ensure they return to lifting honours.
