Keeper signs on a permanent basis following loan spells

A deal has been agreed to ensure that goalkeeper Tomas Cerny remains with Hamilton Academical next season. The 24-year-old Czech has spent the last two terms with the Accies, but his parent club Sigma Olomouc have only now agreed that Cerny can stay put on a permanent basis. Cerny has so far made a total of 51 league appearances for Hamilton and the shot-stopper is eagerly anticipating the 2009/10 campaign at New Douglas Park. He told the Hamilton Advertiser: "It was very important to me that things were sorted out between the two clubs because it was about my future. "It took a little bit longer than I expected, but now I think everything is settled and I can concentrate on football again. "I'm happy to be back for the start of pre-season training with Hamilton and I'm looking forward to the new season."
