Trewick keen to keep trialist
Hereford boss John Trewick has held discussions with trialist Lee Morris over a permanent contract.
The 29-year-old forward has performed well during a pre-season spell with the Bulls, although he missed Tuesday's 3-2 friendly defeat at Kidderminster.
Trewick has been impressed and hopes to keep Morris at Edgar Street for the forthcoming campaign.
"Lee missed the Kidderminster game through a slight knock, he missed training on Wednesday, but was back on Thursday," Trewick told the club's
official website.
"I've opened initial contract talks with him. It's looking positive at the moment that he might be with us for longer."
Morris has previously spent time with Sheffield United, Derby, Leicester, Yeovil and Burton but has also had to battle back from a series of injuries in his career.
Speaking about another trialist, Trewick added: "I'm a bit disappointed that Frank Pandiani has decided to return to France.
"There is a slim chance he will be back, but I doubt it. I thought he did well for us while he was with us."
