Barnet have completed the signing of Paul Furlong on a one-year deal after he proved himself in pre-season.

Barnet have completed the signing of veteran striker Paul Furlong on a one-year contract after he proved himself in pre-season.
Furlong was released by Southend United at the end of last term, having finished the campaign on loan at Barnet, scoring nine goals in 21 appearances.
Bees boss Ian Hendon had been confident of persuading the 40-year-old to prolong his career, but revealed Furlong wanted to demonstrate he could still play at League Two level.
"He wanted to do a pre-season after leaving Southend to prove that he was up to doing another year as a League player," Hendon told the club's
official website.
"I always said he could and he came through flying.
"I'd like to thank Paul for his utmost honesty with me. He promised to sign for Barnet. He made it clear to me that he wasn't going anywhere else, although other clubs were interested in him, even at League One level."
Furlong, who will also take on the position of coaching the club's strikers, is out to repay the faith he has been shown by Barnet.
He said: "I was in the wilderness at Southend at the start of the year when Barnet came in and gave me a chance of first-team football and to show I can still score goals.
"I am grateful for that and hope to further repay the club this season. I have a wealth of experience as a striker and hope to be able to pass on some of that knowledge to the younger lads."
