Stanley snap up young defender
Leeds United have allowed promising defender Tom Lees to join Accrington Stanley on loan.
The youngster, who is yet to make his Whites debut, will stay with the League Two outfit until 2nd January next year.
It remains to be seen if Lees makes his Stanley debut in their JPT Trophy clash against Oldham on Tuesday evening.
If he does not feature against the Latics then he could well make his debut for John Coleman's side at Bury on Saturday.
Delight
Meanwhile, Leeds boss Simon Grayson has expressed his delight at the capture of Leigh Bromby from Sheffield United.
Bromby is expected to make his debut against Stockport with Grayson commenting on the club's
official website: "We're delighted to finalise things with Lee.
"He brings plenty of experience, having played in the Championship regularly over the past few seasons, and will provide increased competition for places."
