China international fails to make the grade at Philips Stadion
PSV Eindhoven midfielder Zhou Haibin is expected to leave the club in the January transfer window.
Boss Fred Rutten believes the China international is not ready to play at a required level and he therefore looks set to depart after his contract expires in December.
Haibin only joined PSV in February after leaving Shandong Luneng, but he has failed to make a first-team appearance for the Eredivisie side.
The 24-year-old was optimistic he could earn a long-term deal at Philips Stadion, however, it appears he will head for the exit as a free agent in the New Year.
Rutten said in
Sportwereld: "Zhou Haibin is a great player, but he is not ready to play at the level PSV demands from players.
"There is too much competition for a spot in the starting XI for him to make it at PSV."
