Moura-Komenan and Crossland given chance to impress Clark
Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has handed trials to Anthony Moura-Komenan and Dale Crossland.
Winger Moura-Komenan, a member of the Ivory Coast's Olympic squad in Beijing, was recommended to Clark by former Newcastle team-mate Antoine Sibierski.
The-23-year-old, a Bordeaux Academy graduate, is a free agent after leaving French club AC Ajaccio, who he joined in January.
Crossland is a 6ft 5in goalkeeper, who currently plays in the Northern Premier League with Wakefield FC.
Clark told the club's
official website: "Anthony was recommended to me by a friend and former colleague of mine, Antoine Sibierski.
"He used to be with the Bordeaux Academy and he is currently without a club, so we thought we would have a look at him.
"It is of no cost to the club and it gives me an opportunity to look at a player who has been recommended by someone I respect. We will see how he goes."
Both players are expected to feature for Huddersfield's reserve side in Tuesday's encounter against their Middlesbrough counterparts.
