Ferguson does deal with dad to bring in goalkeeper

Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson has brought in teenage Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos on loan. The Posh boss struck a deal with his father, Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson, to land the 19-year-old on a one-month deal. Amos will provide cover at London Road after first-choice Joe Lewis was dismissed in the Carling Cup defeat at Blackburn in midweek. The teenager has made one appearance for United in the Carling Cup win over Middlesbrough in 2008. He will compete with James McKeown to start against Barnsley in the Championship on Saturday.
