Ghana international completes move to Rossoblu
Bologna have signed out-of-contract Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Appiah on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old has moved to the Serie A side after being a free agent since he left Turkish outfit Fenerbahce last year, having already played in Italy for Udinese, Brescia and Juventus.
Appiah has been out of club football since June 2008 because of a long-term knee injury, although he had a trial with Tottenham in January with a view to a six-month contract.
However, he has continued playing on the international stage throughout and was also linked with a move to German side Schalke in October.
