Several teams missed the chance to steal a march in the Ligue 1 title race as none of the top four sides won on Saturday. Leaders Bordeaux failed to win for the third league match in succession as they played out a goalless stalemate with Monaco. However, Laurent Blanc's side were let off the hook somewhat as their nearest chasers Montpellier and Auxerre drew 1-1 draw at Stade de la Mosson. Dennis Oliech gave the visitors the lead on the stroke of half-time but Alberto Costa equalised after the break and neither team could break the deadlock in the closing stages. In the late kick-off, Lyon looked to be heading to a shock home defeat at the hands of St Etienne but eventually escaped with a point. Emmanuel Riviere headed home to give Les Verts the advantage before Argentine striker Lisandro levelled matters with a little over 10 minutes to go. Elsewhere, a Melvut Erdinc hat-trick fired PSG to an emphatic 4-1 win over Sochaux. The Turkish front-man scored twice in the first half and once after the break to add to Guillaume Hoarau's opener, while Ryad Boudebouz converted a spot-kick for the visitors. Relegation-threatened Le Mans' promising run of form was brought to an end after they were defeated by Nice with Loic Remy grabbing the only goal. A solitary strike was also good enough for Lorient as they secured a home victory against Lens with Sylvain Marchal being the only name on the scoresheet. There were more goals to be seen at Nancy, but unfortunately for the home fans it was visiting Boulogne who ran out 3-1 winners. Pablo Correa's side drew level through Francis Malonga after Laurent Agouazi had scored first but Matt Moussilou and Alexandre Cuvillier wrapped things up in the final 20 minutes.
