Midfielder terminates Latics deal

Midfielder Olivier Kapo has departed Wigan by mutual consent, the club has confirmed. The 29-year-old, who joined the Latics from Birmingham, made just 22 league appearances since his arrival at the DW Stadium two years ago. He played at French club Boulogne on loan for the second half of last season, having made just one appearance off the bench for Wigan against Portsmouth in October. Kapo scored two goals during his time with the Latics, against Ipswich in the 2008 Carling Cup and in the club's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2009.
