Barcelona and Chelsea said to be keen on Shakhtar playmaker

Willian is believed to be attracting interest from Barcelona and Chelsea following his impressive UEFA Champions League displays with Shakhtar Donetsk. The former Brazil Under-20 international scored twice in Shakhtar's 3-0 second leg success over Roma in the last 16 that helped secure an impressive 6-2 aggregate success. The talented 22-year-old is one of a number of Brazilian players with the ambitious Ukraine outfit, along with the likes of Jadson and Douglas Costa, but he has not been overshadowed by his compatriots. Barcelona will have the chance to take in Willian's undoubted ability next week when they host Shakhtar in the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final at Camp Nou. Another impressive display by Willian could help make up head coach Pep Guardiola's mind, although Chelsea are keen to add the Brazilian to their growing number of Samba stars. Carlo Ancelotti already has the likes of Ramires and Alex at Stamford Bridge while they brought in David Luiz from Benfica in January while Lucas Piazon will join from Sao Paulo next season. Willian is contracted to Shakhtar until the end of the 2011/12 season, although he has a £25million release clause should an interested party wish to snare his signature when the window reopens this summer.
