Hoffenheim have confirmed Juventus have made an approach for defender Andreas Beck.
Juventus have held a long-term interest in the full-back and they have now firmed up their interest by opening talks with Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim's sporting director Ernst Tanner is now planning talks with Beck, who has just over a year to run on his current contract at the German club.
"The Bianconeri have asked us for him," Tanner told Bild.
"He now needs to make a decision in the next few days.
"For this reason we will soon be speaking with him. We don't want to pressure him, seeing as his contract runs until 2012, but we just want clarity."
