Canaries agree fee with Seagulls for winger
Skysports.com understands Norwich are closing in on the signing of Brighton winger Elliott Bennett.
Bennett has been a long-term target for Canaries boss Paul Lambert and he failed in a move to sign the 22-year-old during the January transfer window.
The former Wolves youngster has been a revelation for the Seagulls since arriving in the summer of 2009 and played a key role in their successful promotion to the Championship last season.
Brighton were reluctant to lose Bennett, but it appears Norwich are set to land their man after agreeing a fee in the region of £1.5million for the winger.
Lambert is keen to tie up a deal as he looks to add to him to his squad for the start of next season in the Premier League.
