Liga outfit land Dutchman from Hawthorns outfit

Primera Liga outfit Real Mallorca have completed the signing of defender Gianni Zuiverloon from West Brom. The Dutchman has joined the Balearic Island club on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. Zuiverloon moved to West Brom from Heerenveen for £3.2million in July 2008 and initially impressed before falling out of favour. The 24-year-old opted to stay silent on his Hawthorns tenure, stating only he is looking forward to his new Spanish adventure.

Very happy

"I am very happy and I will do my best as a player for Real Mallorca," he told the club's official website. "I hope to become a better player and help the team. I will do everything possible to help the team have a good season."
