Joey O'Brien hoping for continuation of form

West Ham defender Joey O'Brien is hoping the club can continue their run to the top of the Championship table. The Hammers lost at leaders Southampton earlier this month, but they bounced back with victory at Brighton on Monday. West Ham could indeed go top if Southampton are beaten by third-placed Middlesbrough on Saturday. "It was vital to bounce back [against Brighton]," O'Brien told West Ham's official website. "I think we are three points behind Southampton now after they dropped points on Saturday and I think that everybody is going to drop points in this league. "That is the way it is working out, so hopefully we can now go on a nice run. "After a disappointing match against Southampton we have bounced back really well and hopefully we can beat Leicester this weekend."
