Bhoys assistant says management team under pressure
Celtic assistant boss Johan Mjallby has admitted jobs are on the line due to the club's woeful form this season.
Saturday's goalless draw with Hibernian at Parkhead has left the team 12 points adrift of Rangers with a game in hand.
The Bhoys have only won two of their last six games in the SPL and Mjallby knows the coaching staff must turn things around sooner rather than later.
Rennes and Motherwell are next in the fixture list for the Old Firm giants and Mjallby admits confidence among players and management is low.
The Swede knows the club well from his time as a player and he believes only hard work can bring about a change of fortune on the pitch.
Critical
"As coaches it's the most critical week of our careers at Celtic," stated Mjallby.
"We can't lose any more ground to Rangers and we have important games against Rennes and Motherwell in the next couple of days.
"It's a big opportunity to gain some confidence as, of course, we are battling to save our jobs.
"Not only the players, but the people in management are low in confidence right now.
"I was here six years as a player and I know this club.
"Nothing surprised me and it's good in a way as these are testing times.
"Sure, I would be happier if the team was playing better and we were getting results.
"It's important that we all work harder as a team."
