Toffees winger working on finishing in training

Everton winger Seamus Coleman is keen to get back among the goals in a bid to boost the club's meagre output. The Toffees have won a third of their Premier League games this season, but David Moyes' side average just over a goal a game. Everton lost 1-0 to Manchester United on Saturday with Coleman missing a decent early chance at Goodison Park to fire the home side ahead. The Republic of Ireland international bagged six goals for the Merseysiders last season and he has revealed he has been working on his finishing in order to get his name back on the scoresheet.

Finishing

"Before finishing wasn't really part of my game because I was a right-back, but last year I started playing right midfield and got a few," he told the Liverpool Echo. "Now it's got to the point where I need to start working on it a bit more. I've been doing extra sessions with the assistant manager working on my finishing. "I can always improve, that's what I aim to do and I might get a few goals myself. I got a couple last season, and there's no better feeling than scoring for Everton."
