Wigan winger sounds the rallying cry ahead of Wolves game
Victor Moses believes Wigan need to find a dollop of luck from somewhere if they are to turn their faltering season around.
The Latics will face fellow strugglers Wolves on Sunday in what will be a massive game for both sides.
Roberto Martinez's side were beaten 2-0 by Fulham on Saturday, which was their seventh successive defeat, but Moses feels things could have been different.
Maynor Figueroa and the Wigan winger both hit the woodwork in the game, and had their strikes found the back of the net, the game could have taken a different course.
Confident
"That's just the way it's going for us at the moment, and our luck has got to change sooner or later," Moses told the
Evening Post.
"It's still early days, though, and we're all confident of turning it round.
"Everyone is working hard on and off the field, and it has to change sooner or later. It can't go on."
Moses has yet to open his account this term but over the last few weeks has blossomed into Wigan's most potent attacker.
Concentrating
Wigan will be looking for their third successive win over Wolves at Molineux and the former England Under-19 international is aware Sunday's televised game would be the perfect stage for Wigan to kick-start their season.
"The only way we're going to get out of the position we're in is by picking up wins, and that's the way we've got to look at it," he added.
"It means the Wolves game will be even bigger than it would otherwise have been, but we are more than capable of getting the three points.
"No-one's looking at the league table at the moment.
"All we're concentrating on is working hard on putting in another good performance, and hopefully the rest will take care of itself."
