Liverpool star's brother facing court appearance

Rangers' Grant Adam will appear in court on Monday in connection with a sectarian breach of the peace. Adam, 20, the brother of the team's former midfielder Charlie Adam, is alleged to have committed the offence in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Merchant City area of Glasgow. Grant Adam has been a member of the Old Firm club since leaving school and is now the third-choice keeper for the team. He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court. A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said: "We can confirm a 20-year-old male has been charged in connection with an alleged sectarian breach of the peace, in relation to an incident in Ingram Street on Sunday November 6." Charlie Adam, 25, is now a Liverpool midfielder and has played for the Scotland international team.
