City ace rules out Premier League exit
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli insists he is happy in England and not looking to leave the Premier League.
After an up and down debut campaign in England's top flight the 21-year-old has come into his own this season.
Balotelli enhanced his reputation recently with a well-taken double in City's 6-1 thrashing of city rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The starlet continues to be linked with a Serie A return, but this is something he has ruled out in the immediate future as he does not miss the Italian league.
Balotelli is enjoying life with the Premier League leaders and he believes playing in England has helped him in more areas of his game, especially his work rate.
The Italian concedes that he would like to return to Inter Milan one day if the conditions were right, while he is also full of admiration for fellow giants AC Milan.
Stay
"How much do I miss the Serie A? Zero. I'm too happy to be in England," said Balotelli.
"The Italian league has dropped much. The Premier League is beautiful and I play in the strongest English team. I want to stay there.
"Premier League-level football has taught me so much - to run, chase the ball or to press when I lose the ball. Now I'm playing more regularly and this has given me more security.
"Where would I like to play in Italy? In Lombardy (the region of Milan). If one day there is the basis to return to Inter Milan I would do. But it would need to be a team with big ambition. For now, however, I'm not thinking about leaving the Premier League.
"AC Milan? I like them, they're a top club. They've had great players and some are there now. They are players with whom I'd like to play. How close was I to AC Milan? I don't know, only my agent knows."
