Assistant boss insists he is not looking to leave his role
Roberto Di Matteo is adamant he is happy in his role as Chelsea's assistant manager and that there are no problems with Andre Villas-Boas.
Former Chelsea midfielder Di Matteo returned to Stamford Bridge in the summer after being named as Villas-Boas' No.2 following the Portuguese's appointment as Carlo Ancelotti's successor.
However, reports this week have claimed that the ex-West Brom boss is unhappy with his role in West London and was looking to leave.
Di Matteo admits there have been enquiries from other clubs, but the Italian stressed his commitment to bringing success to Chelsea.
Committed
"I don't know where the story has come from," Di Matteo told the club's
official website following Saturday's 3-0 win over Wolves.
"I am very happy here, very happy to work with Andre and the other technical staff.
"Andre and I have developed not only a professional partnership but over the months a friendship which will last forever.
"We have a strong friendship that we will keep. I think that says it all.
"I am committed to Chelsea. There were some enquiries about me and I was flattered but I politely declined because I am very happy where I am and want to be successful with this group and this club."
