Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Abou Diaby has suffered a fresh injury setback. The midfielder made his first appearance of the season in the 2-1 Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund. He had been missing since having ankle surgery during the summer. However, the French international has now picked up a thigh strain and missed Saturday's 4-0 win at Wigan. The Gunners boss though was not too pessimistic and has backed Diaby to come back stronger from his latest setback. Wenger told L'Equipe: "He is currently not fine. He has made so much effort to get back. "I was afraid he would never be back to his best, but now I am convinced he will find his full potential again."
