West Brom and Wigan understood to be keen on striker

Skysports.com understands Dundee United's Jon Daly is a target for a host of clubs including West Brom and Wigan. As captain of Dundee United, Daly has put in a series of impressive performances in the SPL this season. His form has not gone unnoticed, though, and it is believed that there is considerable interest in the striker from clubs in England. The 28-year-old is a good target man who would appear well suited to the Premier League, and West Brom and Wigan are thought to have identified him as a possible transfer target. It may be difficult for anyone to lure Daly away from Tannadice, though, as he is such a key player in Peter Houston's squad and signed a new contract recently spanning until 2013.
