Cottagers reject initial offer for frontman
Sky Sports sources understand that Fulham have rejected a bid from Premier League rivals Queens Park Rangers for Andrew Johnson.
Sky Sports revealed on Wednesday that Neil Warnock was
looking to land the England international.
The 30-year-old is due to be out of contract in the summer and is yet to commit his future to the Cottagers.
His potential availability has seen him fall on to the radar of a number of clubs, with proven Premier League goalscorers hard to come.
QPR had been keen to add him to their ranks, with the Loftus Road outfit looking to bolster their attacking options.
It is, however, understood that they have been knocked back in their efforts to land Johnson.
It is possible that a deal could still be pushed through - with Blackburn also said to be interested - as Fulham will be reluctant to risk losing the former Birmingham, Crystal Palace and Everton frontman for nothing at the end of the season.
