Former Sion striker Pascal Feindouno has revealed that clubs have contacted him for a potential move in January.

Striker reportedly on Sunderland and Swansea's radar

Former Sion striker Pascal Feindouno has revealed that clubs have contacted him for a potential move in January but insists that he is focused only on the African Cup of Nations duty with Guinea. The 30-year-old became a free agent earlier this week after ending his contract with Sion when he was alleged to be one of six players the Swiss club signed during a transfer embargo. Feindouno had a trial with Wigan Athletic last year and has been linked with Sunderland and Swansea City in January. But he is concentrating on the African Cup of Nations and has handed the responsibility of finding a new club to his agent Rui Alves. "There has been contact, obviously, but I am getting ready to go and defend the colour of my country in Gabon and Equatorial Guinee, so all is in the hand of my representative Rui Alves," he told Skysports.com. Alves added: "Pascal is wanted by many clubs in Europe. We all know his qualities as a playmaker, he is a wonderful asset to any club interested in him. "Pascal is wanted by clubs because he is talented and professional. French clubs have enquired about him and all should be finalised very soon. "
