Liverpool boss looking forward to have star striker available again
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish admits he is delighted to have striker Luis Suarez available for selection on Monday.
The Uruguay international could go straight into the team to face Tottenham after serving an eight-match ban.
He was issued the punishment after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
The Reds have managed to win four games while Suarez served his suspension, but lost to Manchester City and Bolton in the league, while drawing with Stoke in the league and Manchester City in the Carling Cup.
Suarez may not be thrown straight back into the starting XI, but Dalglish may find it difficult to ignore the services of his leading scorer.
Liverpool will go up to fifth with a win, providing Newcastle fail to beat Aston Villa at home on Sunday.
Great for everybody
Dalglish said: "It is great for everybody that we have Luis back in the squad.
"He's been back training a couple of weeks now and he's stayed pretty fit. It is fantastic for us to have him available.
"There is a lot to be taken into consideration: the fact he's not played for over a month and more importantly how well the other players have done in his absence.
"But it is good for us - and Steven (Gerrard) will be back so we should be pretty strong."
