Sporting keeper ready for challenge
Sporting Lisbon ace Rui Patricio insists they have nothing to fear against Manchester City.
City take on Sporting at the Jose Alvalade in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 encounter on Thursday.
And the Portuguese international goalkeeper feels Sporting can go into the game with few fears.
"We don't worry about people considering the English club as favourite, and perhaps that can be a positive for us," he told
Sky Sports.
"The match will be difficult because City are a huge club, but we have to be optimistic."
Sporting lost 1-0 to Vitoria Setubal at the weekend, but Patricio insists that they have already put that behind them.
"The defeat at the weekend is forgotten, we have learned from those errors and will not repeat them against City," he said.
"Our goal is not to concede at home, that will make for a better match in Manchester."
