Biancocelesti boss is happy to stay at club

Lazio head coach Edy Reja has reaffirmed his ambition to remain at the club for a very long time, despite nearly quitting his post last month. The 66-year-old held clear-the-air talks with president Claudio Lotito, who turned down his earlier request to leave the Biancocelesti hot seat. And now Reja has underlined the club's ambition of competing with the Serie A big boys as the Capital giants aim to secure a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League by challenging current league leaders AC Milan for the Scudetto. "We have got an important result and now we must continue in this way and try and finish the season on a high," admitted Reja. "I would be delighted to stay and continue this amazing adventure. "Me and the president, the club and the players, all have an aim although it is going to be difficult, but the most important thing is that Lazio will always remain competitive."
