French League postpones clash with Montpellier

The French League has postponed Marseille's Ligue 1 clash with Montpellier later this month to help them in their bid to reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. Marseille had been scheduled to face Montpellier in domestic action on 31st March, three days after their European first leg at home to Bayern Munich and three days before the return trip to Germany. However, it has now been confirmed that the clash with Montpellier has been rearranged for 11th April. Didier Deschamps' men have had a frustrating Ligue 1 campaign and are currently ninth in the standings after a run of five straight defeats. They have had a good run in continental competition, though, knocking out Inter Milan in the Champions League last 16 to set up a tie against Bayern.
