Ibrahimovic brace sees off Roma as Torje rescues Udinese
AC Milan tightened their grip at the top of the table after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's double saw the Italian champions come from behind to beat Roma 2-1 at San Siro.
The Rossoneri dominated the first half and saw Stephen El Shaaraway hit the post following one of a string of chances which were created.
However, it was Roma who took the lead just before half-time when Pablo Osvaldo scored from close range following a pass by Daniele De Rossi.
Roma midfielder De Rossi, though, helped Milan draw level on 53 minutes when he was penalised for handball and Ibrahimovic scored from the penalty spot.
Ibrahimovic nearly put Milan in front with a free-kick which he fired just over and then Maarten Stekelenburg touched Sulley Muntari's shot on to the bar.
Milan finally netted the winner with seven minutes remaining as Ibrahimovic headed home from close range from a Muntari cross.
Udinese moved up to third spot after substitute Gabriel Torje secured a 1-1 draw away to mid-table
Palermo.
Experienced attacker Fabrizio Miccoli had given Palermo a 31st minute lead, but Torje salvaged a point for Udinese six minutes from time.
