Rossoblu fans will not be allowed into Luigi Ferraris Stadium

Genoa have been ordered to play their final two Serie A home games behind closed doors due to crowd trouble which marred Sunday's clash against Siena. The 4-1 defeat at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium was suspended for around 40 minutes after Rossoblu ultras threw fireworks and missiles on to the field in anger. The supporters then demanded that the players remove their shirts, claiming that they were not fit to wear the club's colours. Consequently, the disciplinary commission which reviewed the weekend's events ruled that fans will not be allowed into the stadium for Genoa's last two home games against Cagliari and Palermo. The Ligurians are just one point and one place above the relegation zone with five games remaining.
