The transfer embargo imposed on Birmingham City has been lifted.
The news will come as a boost to new manager Lee Clark, who has been unable to make any additions to the squad he inherited when he took over at St Andrew's last month.
Birmingham were hit with the ban on March 1st after failing to submit the company's June 2011 financial statements to the Football League, and the playing squad has been reduced to just 14.
"We are pleased that the hard work of those at the club and the Football League has paid off and that the financial prudence put in place since Carson Yeung's arrest has been recognised," said acting chairman Peter Pannu on Birmingham's official website.
"Despite the lifting of the embargo, we still need to ensure that this financial prudence remains in place going forward."
In addition to the embargo being lifted, Blues captain Stephen Carr will remain at the club having signed a new one-year contract.
