Millwall and Charlton keen on Saints defender

Sky Sports understands Millwall and Charlton are chasing Southampton defender Dan Seaborne. The Championship duo are keen to bolster their defensive options and are thought to have enquired about signing Seaborne on loan. Seaborne was hospitalised with serious head injuries following an assault outside a city centre nightclub last September and only returned to light training with Saints in late January. The 25-year-old is now back to full fitness and Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is ready to loan him out so that he can get some valuable first-team action under his belt. Millwall and Charlton are now battling to secure his signature with the player's versatility in that he can play at left-back or centre-back making him an attractive proposition for both sides.
