Boss looking forward to working with striker at Ewood Park

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has expressed his delight at the prospect of working with Jordan Rhodes at Ewood Park. Sky Sports sources understand that Rhodes has has completed an £8million move to Blackburn from Huddersfield and signed a five-year deal. Kean says the transfer has been "really hard" and Rhodes will bring goals to his side as they seek to bounce straight back to the Premier League. He told Sky Sports: "Anybody who has seen Jordan play knows he can score a number of goals. And to be fair, the signings we've already made so far show where we want to go and how we want to play. "Jordan has seen those players, he's seen what we're trying to do here and he wants to be a part of that." Rhodes scored 87 goals in 148 appearances for the Yorkshire side after joining the club from Ipswich Town in July 2009, firing them into the Championship via the League One play-offs in May. Huddersfield finally accepted Blackburn's fourth bid for the striker earlier on Thursday, with Rhodes then travelling to the North West for a medical and to discuss personal terms.
