Nemanja Vidic wants Manchester United to prove their quality against Liverpool after suggesting the game is 'everything' to their arch rivals.
The Red Devils have recovered from an opening game defeat at Everton to record three wins in a row to sit a point behind early Premier League leaders Chelsea. Vidic knows exactly what to expect at Liverpool and has warned that United cannot allow any more early points to slip through their grasp. He added: "We cannot afford to drop any points. "At the start of the season you don't want to drop points and be too far away from other teams like Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal. "Being solid is always the key thing at Anfield. It is a tight pitch, so we have to defend well because we have players who can score goals."
