Allardyce has now called on his players to lift the spirits of the fans who were unfortunate enough to watch the Wigan game by beating QPR at Loftus Road in the Premier League on Monday night. He said: "The players didn't give good value for money against Wigan. "Now we have to make sure that we send them home happy on Monday night by getting a good result against QPR." Allardyce may decide to retain Modibo Maiga after he scored the only goal of the game on Tuesday, but otherwise the team is expected to change almost entirely. Winston Reid, James Collins and Kevin Nolan will come back in and there could be a first start for Yossi Benayoun since he returned to the club on loan from Chelsea. Andy Carroll, who injured his hamstring on debut against Fulham at the start of the month, is likely to miss out, but Gary O'Neil, who suffered a knee injury on Tuesday, is fit.
