Champions League: Celtic face Barcelona while Manchester United and Chelsea are in action

Celtic take on the superstars of Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night while Manchester United and Chelsea are also in action.

More from Football

Manchester United have taken maximum points from their opening two games in Group H and will aim to extend that record against Braga. With the memory of slumping out of last season's group stages still fresh in their minds, Sir Alex Ferguson's team have looked a little nervy in Europe so far this season.
Shaky start
But the 2011/12 Premier League runners-up are motivated to reach this year's Champions League final at Wembley to avenge the memory of their loss to Barcelona at the same venue in 2011. After suffering defeat by Chelsea in last season's final, Bayern Munich entered this campaign's competition with a determination to lift the trophy. But the German club have made a shaky start after their shock setback against BATE Borisov, meaning a win over Lille in France is essential in Group F. On the back of their victory against Bayern, BATE could take a giant stride towards a surprise place in the knockout stages if they collect another three points versus Valencia in Minsk to maintain their place at the top of the group. Spartak Moscow sit bottom of Group G after defeats by Barcelona and Celtic, which has led coach Unai Emery to label his team's meeting with Benfica in Russia as 'crucial' if they are to remain in the fight for second place in the standings. Galatasaray have yet to record a point in Europe this season but they remain very relaxed ahead of taking on CFR Cluj in Istanbul, with manager Fatih Terim claiming the match will not decide their 'destiny'.
