Transfer news: Swansea forward Michu paying no attention to move talk

Swansea forward Michu is paying little attention to speculation regarding his future, with his focus locked on the present.

Growing fast

Michu has shone this season under the careful guidance of Michael Laudrup, another who has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium. Those in the Swans camp are, however, hoping that he will remain at the helm for the foreseeable future. Michu added: "He will want to go to the top. There are not many people that can go to the very top, players or trainers. "If he is linked with other clubs that is good for him. "I think the gaffer could train Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United. I hope he stays, but I don't know what is going to happen in the summer. "He is the best manager I have worked with. He gives the players the liberty to play. "We're eighth in the league and playing in a cup final. This is a club which is growing very fast."
