Celtic winger Aleksandar Tonev's hearing over alleged racial abuse has been postponed until the end of next month.

The winger, who is on loan from Aston Villa, was due to answer an SFA Notice of Complaint on October 9 but that has now been put back until October 30 due to his involvement in Bulgaria's forthcoming European Championship qualifying double-header.

Aberdeen full-back Shay Logan alleged Tonev used racist language towards him during Celtic's 2-1 victory at Parkhead on September 13.

The Notice of Complaint states the 24-year-old allegedly breached disciplinary rule 202 'Excessive Misconduct by the use of offensive, insulting and abusive language of a racist nature'.
