Former Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade is expected to be unveiled as Cardiff City’s new manager over the weekend.

According to Sky sources, Orient and Cardiff have resolved their differences opening the way for the 53-year-old to move to south Wales.

Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan has been chasing Slade since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer left Cardiff in the middle of September.

However, over the past three weeks Slade’s likely move from League One Orient to Championship side Cardiff had been put on hold because of a dispute between the clubs.

But it now appears that all differences have been resolved.

Slade, the League One manager of the season for 2013/14, has been at Brisbane Road since April 2010.
