Paris Saint-Germain struck twice in the second half as they came from a goal down to win 2-1 in Lorient and keep the pressure on Ligue 1 leaders Marseille.

Lorient had taken a surprise lead four minutes before the break when Raphael Guerrerio found the net, but Edinson Cavani levelled just before the hour mark with Jean-Christophe Bahebeck bagging the winner soon after.

Meanwhile, Lyon came from behind to claim a 3-1 win at Nice to move third in the overall standings.

Gregoire Puel opened the scoring in the 51st minute for the home side but a goal for Steed Malbranque and two for Alexandre Lacazette saw Lyon claim victory.

Guillaume Gillet scored an own goal as Bastia were defeated 1-0 by Guingamp at Stade Municipal de Roudourou.

Gillet got the final touch to Sambou Yatabare's strike just after the half-hour and it proved to be the decisive goal as Guingamp climbed away from the bottom three.

The result also meant that Bastia slipped second bottom, with their record only better than Evian after 12 league games.

Kevin Berigaud helped shoot down his former club as Montpellier climbed to ninth place in Ligue 1 with a 2-0 home victory over Evian.

The man who left Annecy for the south of France in the summer had not scored for Montpellier until Saturday night but bucked that trend after 32 minutes of play against his old employers.

Anthony Mounier made the points safe with a second goal on the stroke of full-time, firing La Paillade into the top half of the table and plunging Evian to the bottom of the standings.

Elsewhere, Modibo Maiga scored a goal in each half and Florent Malouda added a 90th minute penalty as Metz claimed a 3-2 win over Caen.

Jean Calve and Bengali Fode Koita scored second-half goals for Caen, but Malouda's penalty after Alaeddine Yahia was sent off for Caen settled matters at Stade Saint-Symphorien.

In the other game, Lille drew 1-1 with St Etienne after Max Gradel cancelled out Michael Frey's opener.
