Revista panel expecting Carlo Ancelotti to leave Real Madrid in summer

The Revista de la Liga panel agree that Carlo Ancelotti is unlikely to still be charge at Real Madrid next season, despite recent assurances from club president Florentino Perez.
Perez called a press conference last week to deny reports that Ancelotti could be sacked if Madrid are beaten by Barcelona in El Clasico this Sunday.
But asked on Revista whether he expects Ancelotti to be in charge next season, Guillem Balague said: “No, I don’t think he will be there. Maybe he doesn’t want to be there with this kind of behaviour to his word, it will be one of those friendly departures.”
Ancelotti won three trophies last season with Real Madrid, including the Champions League, but his team have struggled in recent months.
They are a point behind La Liga leaders Barcelona and narrowly avoided a shock Champions League exit against Schalke last week.
“It is difficult for a manager when you have won so many titles last season and then you have a period of the next season when the team are not playing well,” said Albert Ferrer.
“When results are not the best, then everybody starts criticising the manager, who won the titles. That is difficult to take and that is why his thinking is important.
“It depends how he feels, if he is happy, if he has had enough of everything, but I am sure he will be there until the end of the season, a change of manager now wouldn’t make any sense.”
Gaizka Mendieta thinks Ancelotti’s future could depend on whether or not he wins any silverware this season.
“It’s like last season, before winning the Champions League he was out of the club, then win the Champions League he is still in,” he said. “If he doesn’t win anything I don’t think he will be there if he has a contract or not. If there are no titles he won’t be there.”
