Harry Redknapp has said he would like to return to management next season – but only if the right opportunity came up.
Redknapp resigned as QPR manager at the start of February due to a knee problem.
However, the former Tottenham, West Ham, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Southampton manager says he is now fit to return to the dugout and left the door open to a managerial comeback next season.
Speaking on The Fantasy Football Club, Redknapp said: “I’ve enjoyed my break. I wouldn’t want to do anything until next season and it would depend if anything interesting comes up. I’d like to go somewhere where I’ve got half a chance of doing something.
“If it wasn’t in the Premier League, I’d want to go to a club that could get promoted. I wouldn’t want to be stuck down the bottom, messing around all the time.”
Redknapp also discussed his departure from Spurs and his thoughts on the England manager's job on the show. Watch The Fantasy Football Club on Sky Sports 1 HD from 6.15pm.
