Ian Harte one of seven players leaving Bournemouth

Republic of Ireland international Ian Harte is among seven players being allowed to leave Premier League-bound Bournemouth.

Harte, Josh McQuoid, Benji Buchel, Joe Partington, Mohamed Coulibaly and Miles Addison have been told they will not be offered new deals at the Goldsands Stadium.

Goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan is also leaving the club as he is looking for more first-team chances after only featuring in one game in the club's run to winning the Sky Bet Championship.

“It’s always difficult when you have to make decisions about players’ futures, especially when they have done so well for us over a long period of time,” manager Eddie Howe told the club's website.

“This is the heartbreaking part of the job because we are losing some very good people and some fantastic characters."
