The Manchester United winger, who spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon, is in Istanbul to complete his move to Fenerbahce.
The 28-year-old was greeted with a raucous reception on Sunday evening as he jetted in ahead of a medical with fans setting off flares and climbing onto roofs.
