Highlights of the Carabao Cup first-round match between Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City

Plymouth will host Frank Lampard's newly-promoted Premier League Coventry in the Carabao Cup second round after two stoppage-time goals gave them a dramatic 2-0 win over Devon rivals Exeter.

Former City defender Alex Hartridge headed Argyle 1-0 up in the second minute of time added on from a Harvey White corner.

Argyle's Canadian striker Bim Pepple made it 2-0 in the fourth and final minute of stoppage time after a City defensive mix-up.

Earlier, Charlie Cummins fired high and wide for the visitors when the ball dropped to him from a headed clearance in the 29th minute.

It was a rare opportunity in a tense, scrappy Devon derby that offered little in quality for the first half hour in front of a Home Park crowd of 16,755.

Jack Bycroft made an excellent full-length save to keep out Pepple's goal-bound angled drive after 31 minutes.
Pepple headed just over from Malachi Boateng's cross into the six-yard box in the 57th minute as Argyle pressed for an opener.

Will Evans missed a golden opportunity to put the greens ahead on the hour when he fired over from 12 yards.
